Service Description
A comprehensive virtual evaluation of your child's emotional, behavioural, and psychological functioning. This service includes ADHD evaluations when appropriate. The assessment is completed across five stages: a parent/caregiver intake, child/youth assessment appointment, assessment measures and clinical review, clinical integration and report preparation, and a final feedback appointment. Assessments are individualized and may include clinical interviews, standardized questionnaires, review of relevant records (e.g., Ontario Student Record), and consultation with caregivers, educators, physicians, or other professionals. When clinically indicated, additional components such as a classroom observation may be recommended. You will receive a detailed report, including diagnostic clarification when appropriate, along with personalized recommendations to support your child at home, at school, and in everyday life.
Cancellation Policy
At McDonald Psychology Services, we value your time and our ability to serve all clients effectively. To ensure smooth scheduling, please review our policy: 24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. No-Show Fee: If you miss an appointment without notice or cancel within 24 hours, a fee will be charged. Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply. Emergency Exceptions: If you experience an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
